About the ROM:

·       32 NHL Teams (albeit, one re-branded)

·       Same NHL94 font used for the title screen to pay tribute to the game itself.  NHL94.com still shows as the official scoreboard sponsor for promotion to this site.

·       Anaheim and LA have new logos.  The former has new color scheme.

·       New playoff scheme (pictured below).  I didn’t include last year’s playoff bracket – afterall, it’s not the same lineups so, it’s not the same experience.  Instead, I did something similar to how the NHL does preseason scheduling and broke it into different regions.  It’s not identical but close enough.  It’s not the same 16 team bracket each time so you can have a different journey with whichever team you use.

·       Includes the “weight bug” fix

·       Each team has 13 forwards, 7 Dmen and 2 goalies.  That said, not everyone made the cut (for the ROM).  I have my rationale behind who did vs didn’t.  The checking line has the Dmen most commonly used in 3rd periods to create for better overall defense.  So, you’re actually only getting two d-pairs vs 3.

·       All LTIR skaters (with the exception of Drew Doughty) are not in the game.  He’s one my favorites so I am biased and kept him in, albeit, as a “healthy scratch.”

·       Injured players rumored to be returning within a month, may be in the game.  Suspended players (Nuke for COL) are not included…yet…

·       Lines/D pairs are confirmed in some cases and best guesses/speculation in others

This is only guaranteed to work on original system, should work on 90% of clone consoles BUT I DO NOT guarantee functionality on none of them. I know for sure it will NOT work on a RETRO FREAK and RETRON 5.
